Horrified Almost-vegetarian

I can't believe I just came to my blog to add a new post and what do I find? The Google ad below my entry about my daughter's 99.9% vegan birthday dinner was for A1 sauce with a picture of a steak alternating with a hamburger.

When I signed up I thought the ads would be relevant to the content in each post, and sure it was about food, but the word vegan was definitely in the keywords. I have no idea whether this sauce has any animal products in it, but will now have to research that for another day.

As the old TV commercial queried: "What's a mother to do?".

Peace, Judi

P.S. Do you think this post will generate an add for some lovely Boca Burgers, Tofurkey Sausage, or maybe some Not Dogs? One can only hope!

LOL - At least you have a great sense of humor about the whole thing.

Nice play, I would have probably been a lot less gracious! Here's hoping for some vegan ads!

Marlene - why not, only thing I can do is remove it all together.

T.Allen-Mercado - Not holding my breath on that, the same ads seem to be there on this new post as well. Must just be A1 and Toyota day.

Thanks for your comments!

Well, cows are vegetarians...vegans even!

And sadly, no, it is an A1 ad that reads "sing for your beef".

Oh that's funny! I'd love to see an add for 'Tofurkey Sausage' but I'm not holding my breath for that one ;)

LOL - You never know what will pop up on google ads. I've had some doozies too.

You have a good attitude about it, Judi!

Looks like a wonderful meal for your daughter.

Hope your weekend has been and continues to be fun.

Thanks, everyone. Today it's rather a mixed bag - fortunately none for meat-related products.

Hope all you US posters had a great holiday weekend.

Peace, Judi
