Cozy

Cozy - 069:365, originally uploaded by Judi FitzPatrick Studio.

Here's a Coffee Cup Cozy, designed by Drew Emborsky, aka The Crochet Dude. The pattern is free on Drew's website, you can find it here.

It was quick and easy to crochet and quite useful, I recently tried it out at a local coffee shop.

Thank you, Drew, for designing and sharing!

Peace, Judi

Great idea! Great color too!

Am I mistaken, or does it have handles of a sort built in? I've never seen (or heard of) such a thing, but it might make a great gift for MY WIFE. She's got very sensitive hands and always has to ask for a second cup to hold the first one.

Thanks, Cathy, and for the award; I'll go check it out shortly.

Jim, it doesn't have handles, but does have a cover to keep the coffee warmer and there is a "button and tab" thingy to keep the cover opened or closed. It's also good for soaking up the spills if you are using it while driving in the car.
Send along YOUR WIFE's favorite color(s) and I'll whip one up for you to give her. It's the least I can do for all the great things you do for everyone.

Peace, Judi

This is super cute, Judi! I need to learn to crochet (I only knit) - this looks like a great way to use all those little remnants we all have in our yarn baskets!
