From the desert southwest
Absolutely one of my favorite pastimes!Cheers!http://juliemagerssoulen.blogspot.com
I am lost if I don't have a book I am reading! Much better than t.v.!
I have not read as much lately as I used to, I have old eyes and get headaches from reading. But it reminded me that as a child my favorite summer things was to go to the library and get a bunch of books then go home and take a blanket and a billow out under our huge shade tree and spend the afternoon reading. I read all of the Wizard of Oz Books and a lot more.
If I go outside I usually see something that makes me run back inside to get my camera. =)
It was so wonderful to not only start but finish a great book recently!
...I was reading post on my google reader and I saw first just the picture of these book covers (loved the "Digging to America", haven't read second...)So true Judy- let's leave computer, tv, etc alone and read something nice :)right at this moment I am reading "Fire in the Blood" by Irene Nemirovsky. --Joanna http://joannasfoto.com/blog/
Just this summer I've become a reader. I've read 10 books so far. My favorite place to read is our screened in porch. I love it:)
Judi, LOL If I am outside it's with my camera, but what a great idea for a post. I am currently on the 2nd Twilight book "New Moon" but I am so NOT a reader and it is going to take me a long time to finish it! :)
P.S. foranyone who reads a lot, just in case you haven't heard of this awesome place...www.goodreads.comYou can add all the books you have read, review them, put books on a shelf to read later and see what your friends are reading! Such a cool site for people who read a lot!~Pam
