What's In A Word?

Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton are at it again disputing Obama's right to use the same words as MA Governor Deval Patrick's quotes from one of his speaches. Gov. Patrick was interviewed and told Sen. Obama he didn't mind if he used the same words.

Words, in and of themselves, are not necessarily important - it is the meaning behind the words, and the truth held in the words that matters most, don't you think?

This is something that has been on my mind recently, even before this political tie-in. I'm hoping to occassionally post something about a word and what it means to me individually, globally, etc. I've got some research to do before I begin, but know that any word I choose to dwell upon is going to be one that I find spiritually or emotionally uplifting, have a general positive connotation (to me at least), and will hopefully leave you feeling better that when you started to read the blog.

Wish me luck as I venture forth into the world of words.
