Happy Spring
I have a few bits of news! Please forgive my rambling, I think I have Spring Fever!!
First of all, I won this lovely card made by NYPapercrafter, by being the lucky commenter on this blog post. Please check out Debbie’s shop, I’m sure you’ll find a great card for yourself.
Also, thanks to Jolene for including my 3 Sheep “Jewel of a ReUse” in this adorable collection of spring lambs blog feature. And check out the cool stuff in the MadeStuffShop here.

Lastly, my sister and I finally got to our favorite candy store in Ogunquit, ME, the Harbor Candy Shop, today – my stock of dark chocolate non-pareils is now refreshed. Yum, yum, yum!

Louisville Part 9 and More
Happy Earth Day! Hope you take the opportunity to show your love for your “mother” and do one new thing that will help the planet. For instance, as your light bulbs need replacing, why not replace them with compact fluorescent ones? Or consider recycling even the tiniest pieces of paper, every little bit helps.
After work tonight I went to the Tuesday night exercise class taught by the young woman who works in the gym. Tonight’s session was called “Butts and Guts” and wow did we work ‘em. Since I haven’t worked out for over 4 weeks, I fear major muscle rebellion by the morning. It was fun, for something that seemed to be killing us!
The weather was great yesterday and even better today – spring is finally here! Flowers have popped open all over the place and it’s comfortable to be outside without a coat on – my kind of weather.

Random Things

2/2, now known as Groundhog Day, is actually the midpoint of the winter quarter of the year. The pagens call this day Imbolc. The day was/is used to forecast the following six weeks, just as Puxatawny Phil is used now - by the weather backwards. A clear day would indicate 6 more weeks of winter weather - like Phil seeing his shadow. The best part of this is no matter the weather, we are more than halfway to spring - yippee!
2/7 is Chinese New Year this year. We are about to enter the year of the rat. The date is determined by the second new moon following winter solstice - again, close to halfway through winter.
If you missed making resolutions or just haven't kept the ones you made at the Gregorian new year - why not make them now; anytime is a good time to decide to make your life better.
